One Year Anniversary Trip to Alys/Rosemary Beach

The Perfect Anniversary Getaway!
We had the best time in the perfect city spot for our small little getaway! Cannot believe it’s our one year wedding anniversary already — time definitely flies by when you are having fun! We decided to take a small weekend trip to the beach for our anniversary and it was the best. We explored Alys/Rosemary beach, spent lots of quality time and took lots of pictures (bc that’s what girls like to do, right?!). The weather was absolutely gorgeous and I’m glad the beach was not overcrowded at all. We searched for private beach spots so it was neat to have only a few people close by.
I’m in no way a traveling expert so I will only share what we did, the yummy food we ate and where we stayed.

Loved this comfy but yet casual look for the road. We left early in the morning so we had enough time to explore and walk around. I didn't want to waste time driving to the hotel and changing clothes to go out to I thought I’d be picture-ready of course! Happiest as can be on the road! We reminisced on all of the beautiful memories we’ve made together this far, listened to music and sang our hearts out!
We made it to the SkyWheel at night and it was the best view! Although I might not have enjoyed it as much because I am terrified on heights! The SkyWheel is located in Pier Park and costs about $12 per person to ride on it. I believe we got a discount for paying online, so don’t forget to plan ahead!

We made our way to the beach the following morning and it was such a beautiful day. We drove around looking for private beach access points and I’m so glad we did. The beach was almost empty and only a few people were there. The water was also crystal blue, you don’t really get to see the water this pretty often.
I wore a pretty, beige, flowy dress from my clothing boutique and it was the perfect style for this trip! The dress is very light itself and it was exactly what I wanted since the weather in Florida can get pretty hot. Dress linked HERE! We still have a few sizes available and it’s also under $45! OH AND it also has pockets — def a must! I also wore the button up blouse from amazon the entire trip, it’s very versatile to you can style it different ways.
Later that afternoon, we headed back to the hotel for a quick rest and later got ready for our dinner date. We went back and forth on the dates of our beach trip but I’m so glad we chose our exact wedding anniversary weekend dates. I feel like celebrating the day of a special event of the exact date is more special than celebrating before or after it. Sometimes life doesn’t allow it and changes have to be made so that’s okay too!
My favorite camera for pictures recently is the Canon G7x so we had to get a few snaps before heading out. I also have on the go an SD connector that connects to my iPhone so I can upload the pictures as soon as I get a chance and it is so convenient to carry around!
Clearly my husband had too much fun in the sun! HAHA!
His look is from Amazon. I was shocked on this shirt because the quality is so great! It does run a little big, so size down if you plan on buying your significant other one.
My dress is also from my clothing boutique and it also has pockets! I love how well it styled with my handbag. Only have a few sizes left on the dress and it is also under $50! Dress LINKED HERE!

We headed out and got some pictures! As you can tell, we’re very photogenic lol I feel like these memories will stay with us forever! It was a beautiful day out and the sky was really showing out! *all the heart eyes*
For dinner, we made reservations at the Pearl Hotel - Havana Beach Bar & Grill. We would have loved to make reservations for outside seating but we missed the sunset by a smidge so I’m glad we ended up being seated inside. Service was amazing and the food was delicious! I would rate this place a 10/10 and would definitely come back!
Our last day before heading home, we drove to Al’s Beach and stopped by the infamous Raw and Juicey for some brunch and did NOT disappoint! Their juices and smoothies are my absolute favorite. The vibes, the scenery, the architecture — everything about this place is just immaculate! We strolled around the streets of Alys Beach, the beach itself and soaked in every minute of this trip. CANNOT wait to be back!
If you have not had the chance to head to Rosemary/Alys Beach, please put it on your bucket list! Whether it’s a one day trip of a whole week, you will not be disappointed. There are a lot more things we could have done and places we could have visited but our trip was a little short and we only wanted that time with each other.
