How to Style Long Hair to Get Big Curls
My highly requested voluminous curls for long hair is finally here!
My go to style is definitely these loose wavy curls! It’s also a statement style that you can also style up or down. If you’re like me, I don’t think every hairstyle goes with the outfit I wear sometimes. But you definitely cannot go wrong with this style!
I created a step by step tutorial so you can try it too!
The products I use are: (click on highlighted link to be directed to site)
—Pantene hairspray (mine is a 4 hold because I have big, thick hair but; anything between 2-3 could also work depending on hair type)
Here are the steps:
1. Dab some baby powder on your roots lightly to get some of the excess oils. This will also add some volume to your hair.
2. Part your hair in half and do a few pumps of the anti-breakage serum. I usually do 3 pumps of serum because I have a ton of hair but 1-2 pumps should work for shorter or thinner hair. Comb through your hair after serum is applied.
3. Begin with the back side by curling out with the Remington wand. Alternate sides rather than doing one side first and then the other.
4. When reaching the front, use the wand to straighten the little baby hairs back as well as the top to avoid any frizz.
5. Use the straightener to straighten out the bottom. (My secret to a ‘new,’ fresh look is to trim a few centimeters off to make it look even. Trust me, it works!)
6. Lastly, grab some hair on each side by pulling it up and spraying some hairspray in order to create some volume.
There you have it!
Have a fun weekend!
